New research suggests standing desks boost work performance
A study undertaken by researchers from the University of Leicester on desk-based staff at the NHS has shown that 43% of sit-stand desk users reported a performance boost after 12 months of use. Just as importantly, 52% of the people in the study reported feeling more engaged at their workplace after the same period. These insights have been reported recently by both the BBC and The Telegraph among others, and the study was published in the British Medical Journal.
